Our Story
he Adorable Child & Next YZ Consignment Marketplace is one of the most unique consignments shops in the East Tennessee. What began as a simple children's consignment boutique in 2006 has expanded multiple times to become an online and showroom marketplace containing a broad variety of children's, youth, women's and men's clothing, shoes, accessories, and more!
Simply put, our consignors are the very best anywhere. Their brands and the quality of their consignments ensure our inventory - which changes daily - provides the best selection possible.
Beyond Adorable Boutique - In June of 2013 we expanded into trendy clothing and accessories for young women of all ages - accommodating our child customers (and their mom's) as they grow up. After a naming contest among our customers, we branded this store-within-a-store Beyond Adorable.
www.adorableonline.co - In November of 2015 we relaunched our online shopping site. This allowed us to expand our reach and better serve our wonderful and growing customer base nationwide. We ship anywhere in the United States and add numerous items daily to the site.
The Move - In July of 2021 we moved our store to a new space in the Village Green Shopping Center right across the street from here we had been. By doubling our square footage we are now able to offer more breadth inventory and serve many more consignors and customers. Our showroom is now located at 11525 Kingston Pike in the beautiful Farragut community of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Next YZ - Concurrent with our move in July of 2021 we rebranded our women's section to Next YZ - with a nod toward the multiple generations of customers that we serve. A short while later we added and have expanded our men's section which is becoming a fast growing segment of our business.
We opened for business in the summer of 2006. Our founders built the business as a faith based business that seeks to value "Someone beyond ourselves who is greater than our quirky, human frailties." For that grace-filled perspective on life we are most grateful, and choose to live every day with gratitude for being able to serve all people and the adorable children of all ages in their lives.
